Had fine stay especially for my Business Trip, the stuff where very nice, location was wonderful in a quaint neighborhood. Location: the hotel was short walk to about three restaurants as well as where there seems to be about three restaurants. Overall I liked the stay and do recommend...

Good location in a wonderful small town.
We had to park out side the town and walk in to locate the hotel and work out how to drive to it, before we could drop off the luggage and then find the hotel car park which was 400m or so from the hotel. Hard work after a long day but thats the penalty for a trafic free town!

The hotel boasts a wonderful staff who are always willing to help and are very knowledgable about the region. The breakfast was decent and my room had a wonderful view of the Schwarzwald directly off the balcony. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay and the food was excellent (best pork steaks ever!) a warm and friendly atmosphere and nothing was too much travel. Garaging was available for the motorcycle and it was perfectly located to explore the beautiful surroundings both on foot and by road (including the b500). In additon there were free bus and train passes and free or reduced admissions to some places of interest giving the opportunity for even the drivers/riders to have a break. We look forward to stopping again.

The hotel is located in a great area close to Triberg (5 KM). It is clean, well kept, and quiet. It has their own restaurant and coffee shop. The food was fantastic. The owner is kind and helpful (speaks English). The location is SUPER! it has a fantastic view of the forest. The price is really good and I even got a free entrance to the water falls!!

The balcony over looks a nice quiet valley. We were able to bring our dog and there was a nice place to walk her. The room was good sized and the bed was comfortable. Nice location outside of Triberg. Really enjoyed our stay
The bathroom was a little cramped but it had a nice bathtub. Nice for a soak after hiking in the Black Forest!

The owner was a terrific guy who was quite helpful and very nice. The breakfast was pretty good in a delightful room. It was nice to have a tv to view some of the Olympics as well. The place is tucked away on a residential street which was nice and quiet.
The beds were a bit old and saggy (back ached) and some lights were not working. Every now and then the lights might be checked for proper operation. Otherwise, it was a nice place, but I would have liked to have been offered a room with a view as the place was not full.

it was clean, safe and secure, the owner was very nice and friendly.
it was very quiet in june, of course not high summer season, but as we were travelling through this area of Germany and stopping and starting, we were booking as we went. this hotel is more like a guesthouse in a small suburb, which is lovely, quiet but there is no even a main street in the 'town'. No point in staying in hotel bar as we would be only two there so found local pub to pass the time. It fine if you had had dinner and arrived in time to bed down for the night. Ate in hotel restaurant which was only ok and bit pricey for what we got, but there was other other choice as we could not find anywhere else.
